Gravcores are rare resources added by the Odyssey DLC that are vital for the upgrading of gravships.

Acquisition
Gravcores can be acquired from a total of 3 sources, all quest related:
* Each of "The Gravship" sub-quests, except the final one, will provide 1 gravcore.
* They have a 20% chance of appearing from gravship-upgrade sealed crates.
* As a reward from other Odyssey-related quests. What quests?

After finishing main Gravship quest, subquests stop spawning, which heavily limits accessibility to new Gravcores.

Usage
Gravcores are used in the following crafting recipes:

Analysis
There is a limit of 6 grav field extenders and 1 signal jammer, so once those are built, any gravcores can be freely used to create gravcore power cells.

Before the limits are reached, there is some competition between the three buildings. The first few gravcores should be used on field extenders to expand the initially small size of the gravship. After that, it depends on whether more space is needed (field extender) or if free power is needed (power cell). The signal jammer is of low priority, as it is only needed to enter the mechhive and to raid the traders guild platforms. The former is the final stage of the gravship quest, while the latter is generally not worth doing even if it was free. It should be built once the Mechhive is available.

As long as you do not complete the mechhive quest and therefore the main Gravship quest, new subquests to acquire gravcores will continuously spawn. This is an easy way to farm an unlimited amount of gravcores. Once the quest is completed, however, sources of gravcores are severely limited, namely quests and sealed crates that award pilot subpersona core, fuel optimizer and gravship shield generator.
