Hemogen is a packaged form of blood; it can be installed onto any pawn, reversing 45% of blood loss. Conversely, extracting a hemogen package from a pawn will cause 45% blood loss.

Hemogen packs can be consumed, which satiates the Hemogen need by +20 per package. This is worth 2 days of blood for pawns with the ''Hemogen Drain'' gene (including Sanguophages), and 10 days for those who just have ''Hemogenic''. Pawns without a Hemogen need can consume one for a measily 0.10 [[nutrition]], without a mood penalty{{Check Tag|?}}.
