'''Bioferrite Plating''' is a buildable [[floor]] type added by the [[Anomaly DLC]]. It can be made out of [[Bioferrite]] once [[Bioferrite Shaping]] has been researched. It's primary purpose is for strengthening [[containment]] of nearby [[holding spots]] and [[holding platforms.]]

== Analysis ==
Bioferrite Plating is designed specifically for the purpose of strengthening your containment cells. With the entirety of the room covered in plating, it will add a +15 containment strength modifier to any holding spots or platforms placed in the cell. Partially covering a cell in bioferrite plating will reward a matching percentage of the +15 modifier equivalent to the percentage of the room covered.

Immediately covering every cell fully in bioferrite plating is not necessary, as early on in anomaly studies your bioferrite supplies are liable to be slim, and level 1 entities are generaly easy to contain. It is advisable to upgrade to such as soon as is convenient, however, as a fully plated room provides a bonus that perfectly offsets the decrease in strength from using a [[Bioferrite harvester]] in the cell.
