===Obtaining===
Jade veins occur rarely on most maps, and must be [[mine]]d before they can be used. Jade can occasionally be found in random cargo pods, and may be [[trade|purchased]] from [[Trader#Bulk_Goods_Trader|bulk goods traders]]. Once you've completed the [[research]] necessary to construct a [[deep drill]], it can also be found in small deposits underground.

==Ore==

Jade tiles have 1500 health, making them one of the faster ores to mine. They can be found in small veins, ranging from 1 to 6 tiles in size. Every tile of ore drops 35 jade when mined, although miners with less than 8 skill in mining will produce significantly less.
