Hay
Nutrient-rich grasses and shoots, harvested and compacted for storage. Hay is good animal feed, but inedible for humans.

Base Stats
Hay is the fastest produced food source, acquired by growing and harvesting haygrass and great for efficiently feeding animals.
It is inedible to humans unless prepared as an ingredient in kibble, and doing so gives your colonists a brutal -12 mood Ate kibble bad thought.
