After looking through the list of stats, I assume the naming convention for stats is roughly: use the label parameter when it's distinctive, otherwise incorporate part of the defName or other context that clarifies its usage, and capitalize each word. Labels that use shortened words like "min" or "max" also seem to be preferred to be written out in full.
Categories for stats could also be expanded upon: for starters one for deprecated stats to separate those from the actively used stats. The larger and more distinct game defined categories include Basics and its many subcategories / generalized format, of which the Important categories could be merged with the Basics (General), Pawn, and Non Pawn. Others, in order of display priority, include Mechanoid, Meditation, Terrain, Apparel, Weapon (Ranged) and Weapon (Melee), Building, Ability, Stuff Stat Factors, Mechanitor, Pawn Combat, Pawn Social, Pawn Misc, Pawn Work, Psychic Ritual(s), and Containment.
The 4 pawn categories (Combat, Social, Misc, and Work) along with Mechanoid and Mechanitor aligns with what appears on the Stats Nav quite well. While Building and the categories that pertain to items (ranged and melee weapons, stuff stat factors, apparel) aren't exactly represented, but remain substantial enough to include.
