Well:

• Alpha 8 refers to it as: shrine.
• Alpha 9 refers to ancient defenders to what I used to call "Guardians".
• Alpha 16 refers to as old shrines. ("-Luciferium occasionally heals old wounds/scars. Luciferium is harder to get (less of it in old shrines, higher prices).-")

Coined by a player doesn't count as the wiki needs to use "official" terms. I assume these Versions documented until now are plain copies of Tynan's wording, since I arrived in A16, I don't know much about RW history, which is why I was backtracking.
