This page is suggested to be moved. Destination: Prosthetics. Reason: "Prosthesis" does not appear in-game, and is a generic catch-all term for any/all limb/organ replacements. All Wooden, Prosthetic, Bionic and Archotech parts are "prostheses" (which is the proper plural). "Prosthetics" is the in-game Research that all these particular prostheses fall under, same as "Bionics" or "Archotech". ("Prosthesis" should then become a redirect to Artificial body parts, as it can properly refer to organs as well as limbs/etc.). |
For all types of body part replacement, see artificial body parts.
Prosthesis, also commonly prosthetics, may refer to one of several different body part replacements unlocked by the Prosthetics research. These are:
They are inferior to normal body parts, and provide a bridge between the worse-still simple replacements, such as peg legs, and the superior-to-natural bionics.
Prostheses may also refer to Artificial body parts generally.
