Ovum
An extracted, unfertilized, human ovum cell stored in a protective capsule. Once fertilized by a male, it becomes an embryo which can then be implanted into a human mother or growth vat.

Ova can only be extracted from fertile pawns, meaning those whose fertility is greater than 0%. Pawns must be over 16 years old to have an ovum extracted. It is possible to extract an ovum from a prisoner. Once extracted, the ovum can be fertilized by a fertile male pawn. It is not possible for a prisoner to fertilize an ovum.
After extracting an ovum, it will not be possible to extract another for the next ten days. A pawn's health tab will show how many days it will take before the next ovum can be extracted.
