Uranium can be traded for profit, crafted into items, used to build cryptosleep caskets, ship reactors, ship cryptosleep caskets or to craft shield belts. It can be found in uranium deposits inside hills and mountains and mined accordingly. More commonly, it is extracted from deep underground with the deep drill. It can also be found in small amounts from deconstructing ancient cryptosleep caskets.
