Tile floor refers to a number of different floors in the game, and most use different amounts of different materials. The descriptions below are very simplistic; see the individual article or Floors for more information.

• Stone tile - can be made from granite, limestone, marble, sandstone or slate. Slight beauty
• Paved tile - actually made of steel
• Steel tile - slightly higher Cleanliness
• Silver tile - high beauty, similar moderate cleanliness to steel
• Gold tile - very expensive, highest beauty, similar moderate cleanliness
• Sterile tile - relatively slow and expensive to build, the highest cleanliness by far
• Fine stone tile - more expensive than standard stone tiles, and with higher Beauty
  • Morbid stone tile - Ideological variant of fine stone tile
  • Spikecore stone tile - Ideological variant of fine stone tile
  • Totemic stone tile - Ideological variant of fine stone tile
