Stone wall
Stone walls are fire proof and highly damage resistant*. They may be constructed from the Structure menu after Stonecutting has been researched. Because the materials are much easier to obtain, Stone walls are very effective when used as fortifications. They can act as Defensive walls, or even support pillars for oversized rooms that would collapse in the middle otherwise.
Pre-existing stone walls may be found on the map, though these can not be deconstructed or repaired like the walls you build, until you claim them.
- Although high in damage resistance, Plasteel is the most damage resistant wall type.
