Lancers are a type of mechanoid added in 1.0. They are split from the scyther, retaining its long ranged firepower.
They always spawn with the charge lance and will attempt to snipe defenders at range. They do not use cover.

The below graph assumes an uninjured lancer using a Normal charge lance. Values may differ as scythers will spawn with charge lances of differing quality, and all values are from Alpha 17.
