Nerve bundles are exclusive to the Fleshmass heart entity/event, providing a way to learn about and eventually defeat the heart.
Summary[edit]
One nerve bundle spawns with the initial growth spurt of the fleshmass heart, with additional bundles appearing one at a time at random intervals, possibly taking days for a sufficient quantity of nerve bundles to spawn. They drop a single Neural lump upon destruction, which you can order a colonist to analyze. It takes 3 neural lumps to be analyzed to find a way to destroy the fleshmass heart, by ordering a colonist to "Trigger Tachycardiac Overload" by direct contact with the heart.
