Talk:Biomes

Is it an idea to have indepent biome pages? There is plenty of information available in the games files that is not mentioned here (e.g., plant regrow rates, animal spawn rates, disease frequency, etc.). Besides that, a dedicated analysis of biome strategies would fit there perfectly as well in my opinion.

This was something I intended to go through with years ago, and set up a template for it. Obviously this isn't the final design, but here is a page (not sure how it looks there, as I aimed at converting the wiki to a dark design at the time): https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/User:Pangaea/Biome_test

Provided there is enough information about each biome, and there probably is tbh, when we include analysis of some sort, then I think it's a good idea to have a page for each biome.

I think that page is a good start. If you don't mind I'll create a sample page for the temperate forest biome based on your initial design.

Some, if not all, biome map pictures were taken during darkness and will be reverted for the sole common sense reason that don't have enough clear visibility, there's no point in displaying images that we can't see clearly.
