"This is an area of 2253 tiles[Verify]. Once all cells in range are polluted, the generator ceases to work until there are unpolluted tiles again. Pollution can spread through constructed walls but not natural ones."

Unlike wastepacks, pollution from by toxifier generators does jump through mountain walls to reach clear tiles. (observed in a v1.5 game, no mods)

The current page is correct with the updated math.

Just for the record, the math on this page is wrong. It says atomizers destroy 2 waste per day, pumps remove 4 polluted tiles every day, producing 1 waste every 6 tiles, and generators generate 2 polluted tiles per day. It then says that 1 atomizer supports 4 pumps and 8 generators.

If the building numbers are correct, this should actually work out to 1 atomizer supporting 3 pumps and 6 generators.

Since I haven't tested this in game, I'm not going to edit it yet. Please double check my math but:

atomizer: -2 packs/day

pump: +4/6 packs per day, -4 pollution/day

generator: +2 pollution/day

1 atomizer, 3 pumps, 6 generators:

(-2 packs) + 3(4/6 packs) = 0 packs

3(-4)pollution + 6(2) pollution = 0 pollution
