Sun blockers are mechanoid cluster and quest condition causers that block all sunlight, preventing natural plant growth. As a world event, it blocks the sun in a 10 world-tile radius.
Analysis
Sun blockers can be very helpful when combined with the Combat in Darkness: Prefered precept , providing a massive accuracy boost when outside. While the game will not spawn sun blockers in a colony with the Darkness or Tunneler meme (who are most adapted to darkness), fluid ideoligions can add memes or precepts after the fact.
Trivia
When generated as part of a quest site, the site will not contain any electrical equipment, as these are usually powered by solar panels.
