Subcore refers to one of three different crafted resources used in the creation of mechanoids. These are:
- Basic subcore, created at a subcore encoder.
- Standard subcore, created from a human subject at a subcore softscanner.
- High subcore, created by killing a human subject at a subcore ripscanner.
Each mechanoid requires one subcore of the correct type, with the exception of the war urchin.
