Traits override ideos - but which do which??
Transhumanist override all mood/opinion penalties from having or Installing artificial parts. As read from the Def files, the mood penalty for not having an artificial part of Body modification: Approved (at moderate wealth) will stack with their own −4 [Check patches for special handling]. The opinion exclusion is on the part of the Transhumanist only; other pawns can still think less of them per part installed (if applicable).
Body purist will not receive the mood penalty for not having an artificial parts nor will have a opinion penalty towards pawns without artificial parts. The def files suggest that the bonus per part from Body modification: Approved does apply alongside their inherent penalty: Check patches for special handling.
The installed part mood penalties last 6 days and don't stack. The installed part opinion penalties last 20 days and stack 100 times.

. Also, having implants of any kind installed will annoy fellow colonists who have the Body Purist trait, stressing their relationship.
As with all bionics, it will give a mood bonus to anyone with the Body modder trait and a heavy penalty to anyone with the Body purist trait. Similar effects are also applied to pawns following an ideoligion with a Body Modification precept.
As an artificial part, bionic legs will give a mood buff to anyone with the Body modder trait, and a mood penalty to anyone with the Body purist trait.
As with all bionics, it will give a mood buff to anyone with the body modder trait and a heavy penalty to any colonist who is a body purist. They are a strong option for body modders - not conflicting with any other.
