Wastepack atomizer
A glittertech device that deconstructs toxic wastepacks into inert gases using advanced moecular proccesses.
The process requires considerable amounts of power.

The wastepack atomizer destroys toxic wastepacks in a clean manner, preventing the spread of pollutionuu.
Acquisition
Wastepack atomizers can be constructed once the Wastepack atomizer research project, which requires studying a nano structuring chip, has been completed. Each requires 200 Steel, 50 Plasteel, 1 Nano structuring chips, 30,000 ticks (8.33 mins) of work, and a Construction skill of 8.
Summary
Wastepack atomizers use 800 W of power. Atomizers hold up to 10 wastepacks, equivalent to two stacks. A single wastepack is destroyed every 30,000 ticks (8.33 mins) or 12 in-game hours inside a powered atomizer. Pawns only reload the Atomizer with full stacks of Wastepacks, or once every 2.5 days. Wastepacks do not deteriorate in the atomizer.
Analysis
Atomizers are one of the few consequence-free means of dealing with pollution. Transport pod dumping uses steel and chemfuel. Caravan dumping away from factions takes time, food, and a large carrying capacity, while dumping near factions loses goodwill. As they progress, atomizers will save on freezer space.
However, the Wastepack atomizer takes 8000 research points seperate from Ultra Mechtech, the actual building requires defeating an apocriton for each structure, and it constantly uses 800 W of power. Finally, the atomizer's rate of removal isn't all that fast to begin with - colonies may need another, supplemental source of waste disposal, anyways. See the below section for details.
Sustainability
Mechanoids actively working consume 10% of their energy budget per day. At the end of recharging a number of wastepacks is created proportional to how much bandwidth a particular mechanoid uses. This means that a continuously working mech will create wastepacks roughly every 11.5 days.
The atomizer will destroy 23 wastepacks in 11.5 days. The table below shows how many mechanoids a single building will support per 11.5 day cycle. The table assumes a mechanoid is able to have 100% work uptime. Mechanoids without work, or mechanoids put in the dormant state will naturally last longer and thus produce less waste.
