As an artificial part, aesthetic shapers will give a mood buff to anyone with the Body modder trait, and a mood penalty to anyone with the Body purist trait. They will also satisfy colonists with a transhumanist ideology.

Xenogenes count as a modification for both traits and all ideoligions.

As read from the Def files, the mood penalty for not having an artificial part of Body modification: Approved (at moderate wealth) will stack with their own −4 [Check patches for special handling]. The opinion exclusion is on the part of the Transhumanist only; other pawns can still think less of them per part installed (if applicable).

Body purist will not receive the mood penalty for not having an artificial parts nor will have a opinion penalty towards pawns without artificial parts. The def files suggest that the bonus per part from Body modification: Approved does apply alongside their inherent penalty: Check patches for special handling.
