I suggest to merge this page with the 'fire' page since the topics are too related for 2 pages

I agree. Think we should move the content from Firefighting into a section on Fire. Then have Firefighting redirect to Fire. Note that several pages link to Firefighting, including the top nav bar, so we wouldn't want to outright delete it.

I agree with this decision too, leave a redirect behind and it should be fine.

Went ahead and did exactly that. The page Fire could probably use some touch-up, but is pretty much good for now.
