A hopper is a nutrient paste dispenser accessory that holds raw food, it must be built next to the main machine to work. The hopper mouse indicator will turn from red to green to indicate proper placement. Click the hopper to select Storage which opens a menu where you can set the priority and resources of choice. Since hoppers cannot be reinstalled but only deconstructed, its best to build the dispenser first and then add the hopper. Cookers may take raw food from it in order to cook simple meals.
