A cathode ray tube display for showing moving pictures with sound. Even on the rimworlds, there is often an old transmitter running something at least marginally interesting.

A tube television is a recreation item that provides "Television watching" recreation to colonists in an area in front of it, with a power of 120%. It is functionally similar to other types of television.

Acquisition

Tube televisions can be constructed once the Tube television research is completed, using the Recreation tab of the Architect menu. Constructing one requires Steel 80 Steel, Component 4 Componentss, 10,000 ticks (2.78 mins) of work and a construction skill of 7.

They can also be acquired through trade.
