Analysis
The flatscreen television has an entertainment strength factor of 140%.
Flatscreen televisions placed facing hospital beds can allow recovering pawns to watch TV for recreational purposes. This can be very useful, as the only other option that bed-bound pawns have requires another colonist to talk to them, and joy-less colonists suffer terrible mood penalties.
Flatscreen televisions can be used for resource compression, compressing 59.7 kg of 105 steel and 12 components into a mere 8 kilos. This allows you to carry 7 times the weight you normally would on a caravan, but means that you will lose 25 percent of the 140 steel and 16 components.
