(Bold edit because things can move slow otherwise. Not an admin, but I think we can agree that at least this half of the proposed model is objectively superior to the current one. If not, it can be reverted. Removed reference to wikipedia policies as we are not wikipedia, despite overlapping goals and ideals.)
