Vertigo pulse is a level 3 psycast that causes pawns in its area of effect to repeatedly vomit.

Acquisition[edit]

There are two ways to acquire the psycast Vertigo pulse:

  1. Upon reaching psylink level 3, a random psycast of level 3 is granted regardless of how this level up is achieved. This won't apply if the psycaster already knew one or more level 3 psycast.
  2. Vertigo pulse can also be acquired from a psytrainer naming it. See the psytrainer page for further details.

Summary[edit]

Goodwill penalty doesn't apply to lodgers.

Can be used to reveal revenants.Content added by the Anomaly DLC

Analysis[edit]

Despite the seemingly weak effect, vertigo pulse makes enemies stop attacking, they also wander out of cover. This means it can turn the tide of pitched battles, so long as you can clump enemies effectively for targeting and you have enough damage potential to exploit the opening.
