Steel tile is one of the floors that you can construct. It can be constructed out of 7 steel, making it the most expensive steel-type flooring.
Steel tiles also has 0.2 cleanliness value. Unlike silver and gold tile, steel tile is not considered a fine floor for nobles in the Royalty DLC.
Acquisition
Constructing metal tiles requires Smithing to be researched. Each tile requires 7 steel and a construction skill of 3.

Unlike steel furniture and walls, steel tile will not burn. Steel tile provides less cleanliness per tile and per value (0.01503759398 vs 0.03389830508 cleanliness per value) than Sterile Tile but it has a greater beauty (1 vs 0).
Version History
Renamed from "metal tile" at some point, possibly with the introduction of other metal tiles like the gold and silver tiles.
