Gravlite panel
A sheet of advanced polymer used in the construction of gravships. It's lightweight and has a high graviton conductance, making it ideal for gravtech structures.
Requires vacstone blocks, which can be obtained from orbital asteroids.

Gravlite panels are a resource added by the Odyssey DLC and used for the construction of gravships and related structures.
Acquisition[edit]
Gravlite panels can be crafted at a fabrication bench once the Advanced gravtech research project has been completed. Each requires 1 Plasteel, 5 Vacstone blocks, 1,800 ticks (30 secs) of work modified by the general labor speed of the crafter, and a crafting skill of 8.
They can also be found via Gravcore quests, looted from sealed crates, obtained from deconstructing mechanoid ship chunks, from the transport pod event, and rarely bought from space bulk goods traders. The Gravship scenario starts with gravlite panels scattered on the initial map.

Analysis[edit]
Gravlite panels are required to build and expand a gravship, as well as to build grav anchors. Until they can be crafted, gravlite panels are a valuable resource. If planning to keep a given map, enough panels should be saved in advance to make an anchor.
As the amount of panels obtained from the initial grav engine quest scales with colony wealth,[confirmation required] the player should consider postponing this quest in order to grow their colony first. This allows the player to obtain enough panels to build the gravship, the anchor, as well as some spare ones.
