Gravlite panel
A sheet of advanced polymer used in the construction of gravships. It's lightweight and has a high graviton conductance, making it ideal for gravtech structures.
Requires vacstone blocks, which can be obtained from orbital asteroids.

Acquisition[edit]
Gravlite panels can be crafted at a fabrication bench once the Advanced gravtech research project has been completed. Each requires 1 Plasteel, 5 Vacstone blocks, 1,800 ticks (30 secs) of work modified by the general labor speed of the crafter, and a crafting skill of 8.
They can also be found via Gravcore quests, looted from sealed crates from deconstructing mechanoid ship chunks, from the transport pod event, and rarely bought from space bulk goods traders.

Analysis[edit]
As they are required to craft both the gravship itself as well as a grav anchor the player should make sure they get enough grav panels to build both IF they intend to keep their starting map. As the amount of panels obtained during the event of the grav engines landing scales with colony wealth[confirmation required] the player should consider to postpone this quest in order to grow their colony first. This allows the player to obtain enough panels to build the gravship, the anchor as well as some spare ones.
