Hunter trap

The hunter trap, a building that turns into a hunter drone when activated by an enemy of the faction that owns the building. They can be constructed, in which case they will belong to the player colony and be activated by, and target, only enemies of the colony. Hostile hunter traps belonging to the Hostile Ancients faction can also be encountered in landmarks, such as an Ancient Garrison. These can be triggered by most[All?] other factions, including the player's colony.
Hunter Traps can be constructed for 40 Steel and 40 Chemfuel. The Hunter drone deploys when it senses enemies in a moderately sized area (approximately 15 tile radius) and explodes shortly after contact.
If an inactive hunter trap building is spotted, it can be safely stunned with EMP weapons and destroyed before it deploys. Traps destroyed in the duration of an EMP stun will drop 10 steel and 10 chemfuel and will not activate or explode. [Verify active drone result]
