Steel tile

Steel tiles, for that spaceship look. They are pretty, and the smooth tile surface gets a bonus to cleanliness.

Steel tile is one of the floors that you can construct. It can be constructed out of 7 steel, making it the second most expensive steel-type flooring.

Steel tiles also has 0.2 cleanliness value. Unlike silver and gold tile, steel tile is not considered a fine floor for nobles in the Royalty DLC.

Acquisition

Steel tiles can be constructed once the Smithing research project has been completed. Each tile requires Steel 7 Steel, 800 ticks (13.33 secs) of work, and a Construction skill of 3.

Analysis

Unlike steel furniture and walls, steel tile will not burn.

Steel tile provides less cleanliness per tile and per silver (0.0125/ Silver vs 0.025/ Silver) than sterile tile but it has a greater beauty (1 vs 0).

Version history

Renamed from "metal tile" at some point, possibly with the introduction of other metal tiles like the gold and silver tiles.
