Gauranlen moss
Gauranlen moss is spawned by the Gauranlen tree. The tree will spawn moss over time. In addition, the Guaranlen tree linking ceremony will create moss. For every 2% ceremony quality, a tile of Gauranlen moss will spawn within 7 tiles of the tree.
It is not essential to the operation of the Gauranlen tree. However, each patch of moss gives +10 beauty. This can help keep pruners happy without negatively impacting pruning speed, like a sculpture would. While floor can serve a similar role, the moss is free and more beautiful than any floor other than gold tile.
Even if you never actually prune a Gauranlen tree, consider installing one near your base for the free outdoors beauty.
