Concrete
Concrete costs one steel, and with the exception of smoothing stone for free, concrete is the cheapest flooring. It is fireproof and effective at creating a fire barrier two tiles wide around buildings to protect them, or around fires to keep them contained. Its downside is its -1 beauty which can lead to the Ugly Environment thought.
Concrete may be useful outdoors underneath wind turbines, as concrete will prevent trees from growing and interfering with the turbine's performance.
A variation of metal tile and paved tile.
Acquisition
Constructing concrete requires Stonecutting to be researched. Each tile requires 1 steel.
