The small chemfuel tank is a building added by the Odyssey DLC that stores chemfuel and allows the fuel to be consumed by the gravship on which the tank is built.
It is the smaller of two such tanks, with the larger being the appropriately named large chemfuel tank.
Acquisition[edit]
Small chemfuel tanks can be constructed once the Basic gravtech research project has been completed. Each requires 120 Steel and 2,000 ticks (33.33 secs) of work modified by the construction speed of the builder.
Once constructed, they cannot be re-installed, they can only be deconstructed.

Small chemfuel tanks hold fuel for gravship travel. This one holds 250 units of chemfuel. Fuel extends the range of a gravship.
Chemfuel can be removed from this container by use of the "eject fuel" gizmo.

This tank contains 250 units of chemfuel with a footprint of 2x2, or 62.5 units per tile. Compared with the large chemfuel tank which is 3x3 and holds 83.3 units per tile (for a total of 750) it is significantly less dense, but it is easier to place on a gravship.
