A Carnivore lavish meal is a variant of the lavish meal created out of meat.
Acquisition
Carnivore lavish meals meals can be cooked at a Fueled stove or Electric stove. A carnivore lavish meal requires 1.25 units of nutrition from meat or animal products (milk or eggs), 800 ticks (13.33 secs) of work to make, and a Cooking skill of 10.
Summary
A carnivore lavish meal can be eaten by humans or animals for 1 nutrition. As it takes 1.25 nutrition of raw food to create, carnivore lavish meals provide 80% nutrition efficiency, so preparing one loses food (even compared to regular lavish meals).
Eating a lavish meal or its variants gives the +12 Ate lavish meal mood for 1 day. This replaces the +5 Ate fine meal mood for 1 day from fine meal if present. If the meal was made out of insect meat or human meat, their respective moodlets will be applied. If Ideology DLC is active and the meal was made out of raw fungus, its normal moodlet will also be applied.
Lavish meals will also satisfy the food requirements of any conceited noble.
Analysis
Carnivore lavish meals provide a very powerful mood buff when combined with usually undesirable meat.
Insect meat and human meat can typically be acquired in large quantities, where the "wasted" food from making lavish meals does not matter. Insect meat only gives −3 mood when cooked, for a net +9 mood buff for any colonist. Human meat usually gives −15 mood (plus −6 for several days for butchering), but those with the Cannibal trait will be incredibly pleased, for a net mood of +27. A colonist's ideoligion can make them enjoy either meat on their own, while getting the full boost from the lavish meal.
