Muffalo are rampaging hellbeasts from the depths of the arctic. They appear peaceful to lull you into a false sense of security before going manhunter mode and murdering your entire colony. Two angry muffalos can wipe out an entire weapons trading convoy. Muffalo drop a lot of meat when killed, but whether this is theirs or the meat of the thousands of slaughters they've conducted is unknown. Their only weakness is their slow speed. They provide a large quantity of leather compared to other creatures that spawn in the same biomes, which means a herd of muffalo can be a lifesaver in extremely cold biomes; two or three muffalo usually provide enough leather to make a parka as well as a gratuitous amount of meat. Their leather is a dark blue color.
Production
Tamed muffalo can be sheared once each 30 days for 100 muffalo wool. Tamed females can also be milked once each 2 days for 6 milk. These natural products are harvested by handlers. It is worth noting however that cows are faster milk producers and alpacas are the faster wool producers - see Animal Products.
