Palm tree
A tropical tree with a tall, naked trunk topped by a cluster of very broad leaves. Unfortunately, this variety doesn't produce any edible coconuts.

Palm trees are a tree found only in tropical rainforests. They do not produce human-edible food. Palm trees can be chopped for 18 wood at full growth. Like any other tree, they provide 25% cover effectiveness. It takes 600 work to harvest, and 4000 to sow once Tree Sowing has been researched. They provide 1.5 nutrition to dendrovores.
