Birdskin is a type of leather produced when a cook butchers most types of birds at a butcher table.

Acquisition

The following animals provide Birdskin. Although they are also birds, chickens and ducks do not yield any birdskin, nor any other kind of leather.

    Emu 28
    Goose 26

  • Analysis

Birdskin is one the least protective and least insulative textiles in the game. It also has a fairly low beauty factor. Thus it should only be when there is no alternative or where its stats have little effect on the utility of the resulting item, such as in clothing production quests or Armchairs whose beauty rarely significantly affects a room's quality.
