Description
Sun lamps are devices used to assist plants growth indoors by providing powerful enough light that can bright like sunlight, supporting hydroponics basins to generate plantations where areas sunlight does not reach. Sun lamps exposed to the open are vulnerable to weather, rain and snow, risking short circuit, fire explosion and damage to its surroundings. Sun lamps automatically turn themselves off at night when plants are resting.
A sun lamp uses over 30 times as much power as a standing lamp does, and therefore shouldn't be used to only light up a room, especially if it's a small room.
Light radius
A sun lamp will brightly illuminate (100%) tiles within a five-block radius. Tiles outside the highlighted area will still be illuminated, but only at 60% or less.
