Plasma sword
"A metal-cored sword with a cutting edge. Plasma is wrapped around the core, held in place by an energy field. Targets are both sliced by the metal core, as well as burned or ignited by the plasma sheath.."

The Plasma Sword is a DLC melee weapon that does a decent amount of damage, has a medium cooldown, and deals sharp damage with the added bonus of occasionally setting the opponent on fire.

It is also possible to obtain "linked" versions of Plasma Sword, These linked variants boast a significantly higher dps and slightly higher AP and can only be used by a single pawn, These linked weapons also have the requirement that the user have a specific Noble Title (Knight/Dame) to use it, lest you incur the wrath of the Empire. The Linked Plasma Swords also have randomized names akin to Legendary items from Dwarf Fortress.
