When a elephant is killed there is a chance that it will drop 2 Elephant tusk.
Gameplay Overview
When an elephant is killed, there is a possibility of it dropping 2 Elephant Tusks. These can then be sold to Exotic Goods Traders, or used as a melee weapon. For the former option, Elephant Tusks can fetch a nice price.
If you choose to use an Elephant Tusk as a weapon, it is roughly equivalent to a Poor quality Steel Long Sword in terms of damage output, so there are many options which can easily beat out an Elephant Tusk - it's an OK weapon if you've got nothing else that's good in storage.
