Temperate Swanp

Wetlands choked with vegetation and disease. Dense overgrowth makes it hard to move around, and clearing areas for building takes a long time. Much of the terrain is too marshy to support heavy structures.

Summary

A more wet version of the Temperate Forest. Diseases are more common, a trait shared with all types of swamps. The marshy soil has poor terrain affordance which can make finding suitable locations to build difficult. Swamps also feature lots of terrain that slows movement speed, but tend to have more rich soil than Temperate Forests. Swamps feature a very high density of wild vegetation.
