"A tough fabric jacket with armor plates sewn in. While it's not as good as solid armor, it offers effective protection against all manner of attacks while remaining quite comfortable."

Acquisition
Can be commonly found on Outlanders, Pirates, Imperial Troopers and Ancients. Can also be crafted at a ? bench at the cost of 50 Steel, 70 Cloth and 1 Component.
Analysis
It can provide additional protection for soldiers, on top of flak vests.
Once you get a lot of devilstrand, such as in mid-late game, it's recommended you switch to the devilstrand duster as it provides slightly more protection, insulation and coverage overall; in addition, it provides excellent protection against flame attacks, making it a superior choice.
