Sealskin
The tanned skin of various pinnipeds, such as seals, sea lions, and walruses. It's not particularly tough but it is extremely well insulated. Sealskin is luxuriously soft to the touch, fetching a high price.

Analysis[edit]
Sealskin is the second most cold insulative textile in the game. It is only beaten by guinea pig fur, which is difficult to acquire as guinea pigs don't appear in cold biomes. Sealskin, meanwhile, can be found in cold biomes with a coast or large bodies of water. Its heat insulation is good too, tied for 9th with bearskin, and better than cloth.
Its protective stats are identical to plainleather, being tied for 16th in Sharp protection, making it largely irrelevant for protective clothing past the early game. It is fairly beautiful (tied for 10th for Beauty Factor) and one of the more valuable leathers available.
