An uncomfortable collar made for slaves. It reminds the wearer of their slave status and psychologically suppresses them, reducing the chance of a slave rebellion.

Requires complex clothing and a tailor bench. Produced with 1800 ticks of work & 25 Metallic, (or) Leathery materials.

Pawns with the Masochist trait get a +2 mood boost from wearing this item.

Notably, the slave collar occupies the Headgear layer but only the neck body part. As covering the neck is relatively rare for headgear items, this means that the slave collar can be worn in addition to almost all other items. Currently, it only conflicts with the Broadwrap.

Analysis

Although it uses the headwear (Hat) apparel slot, most situations will see slaves going without headwear otherwise. For the small material cost crafting the slave collar, the constant suppression it provides is highly useful.

As it offers no protection or insulation, there is no reason not to outfit all slaves, and all masochists, with this item besides the initial small cost of 25 stuff.
