Digestion is a pawn capacity: How well a creature's body converts food reserves into energy to sustain life. Digestion influences the rest rate multiplier at 30% weight. [Verify Description]
It is lethal for humans and animals for Digestion to be reduced to 0%. Despite its name and description, Digestion has no effect on hunger rate.
At the time of writing, the maximum possible Digestion capacity is 132.5% with a healthy pawn high on luciferium with any of the artificial stomachs installed.
Affected stats[edit]
Name | Type | Weight | Max | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|
Rest Rate Multiplier | Stat | 0.3 | - | A multiplier on how quickly a creature rests while sleeping. |
Factors[edit]
The following factors affect Digestion.
- Stomach part efficiency: 50% importance, no allowed defect. No Max
- Bionic stomach: 125% part efficiency for +12.5% Digestion.
- Reprocessor stomach: 125% part efficiency for +12.5% Digestion.
- Nuclear stomach: 125% part efficiency for +12.5% Digestion.
- Sterilizing stomach: 125% part efficiency for +12.5% Digestion.
- Liver part efficiency: 50% importance, no allowed defect. No Max
Offsets[edit]
The following offsets affect Digestion.
- Luciferium high: +20%
Version history[edit]
- Sometime between 1.4.3523 and 1.4.3523 inclusive - Renamed from Metabolism to Digestion, likely to avoid confusion with Metabolic efficiency.
