Mining Speed is a stat: A speed at which this person mines away walls. Its default value is 100%.

An unmodified pawn does 80 damage per mining action and at Mining 8 requires 120 ticks (2 secs) per action. I.E. Sandstone at 400 HP would take to mine, while Compacted Steel with 1,500 HP would take 2,250 ticks (37.5 secs).
