Medical Potency is a stat: How effective this is when used to tend wounds and diseases, or do surgery.
Higher medical potency improves the quality of tending, and acts as a multiplier on the chance of success during surgery.
Medical potency is just one factor in medical outcomes, among many others, including doctor ability, equipment, cleanliness, and luck. Its minimum allowed value is 20%. Its default value is 0%.

Every medicine has a Medical Potency stat as listed:

  • Medicine Base
    Glitterworld medicine 1.6
    Herbal medicine 0.6

  • Use[edit]

    When a medicine is used to provide treatment, its Medical Potency is used to calculate the outcome of the Medical Tend Quality. See Medical Tend Quality for further information on how this is calculated.

    When a medicine is used in an operation, its Medical Potency is used to calculate the probability of success of the operation. See Operations for further information on how this is calculated.
