Bandwidth Cost is a stat: How much bandwidth this mech consumes when under mechanitor control. Its minimum allowed value is 0. Its default value is 0.

Note that the termite, and apocriton also have bandwidth costs of 1 and 2, respectively, defined in the game code, however as they cannot be gestated by a mechanitor, they are irrelevant.

Similarly, the war urchin has a bandwidth cost of 1 defined, but cannot be directly controlled by an overseer, so again this value is irrelevant.
