Its minimum allowed value is -2,000 °C (-3,568 °F) (effectively limited to -261.204 °C (-438.2 °F)). Its maximum allowed value is 2,000 °C (3,632 °F) (effectively limited to 16 °C (60.8 °F)). Its default value is 0 °C (32 °F).
Base value
This section has been suggested for recoding. Reason: expandable, but by default collapsed, table would be better than linking to the property page and would be sortable. replicate implementation for max comfortable temperature page as well. You can help RimWorld Wiki by improving it. |
The default base value for humans is 16 °C (60.8 °F). The table in the collapsed section shows the minimums and maximuns of all pawn See their individual pages or Min Comfortable Temperature for all other creatures. The collapsed table also shows the maximun and minimun temepratures

Offsets
The only offsets for the base value are the cold insulation offered by apparel and genes.
Apparel
Note that for sleeping pawns their apparel has no effect!
The insulation offered by a piece of apparel is dependant on its quality and material.
- See each apparels page for numbers for all kinds of materials and levels of quality.
- See apparel for how it is calculated.
- See Insulation Factor - Cold, Insulation - Cold Factor and quality for the individual elements of the calculation.
